Why choose this training?
At Pon Power, we take your training very seriously. We are, after all, the only Internal Combustion Engine Technician (EVMT) training academy in the Netherlands. This means that with us, you can learn the trade hands-on and complete your EVMT level 3 training in 3 years. As an apprentice technician, you will be well-paid according to the current collective labor agreement in our sector. Additionally, we cover all your tuition and book fees.
At Pon Power, you won't have endless theory lessons; instead, you'll get straight to work in our practical workshop. After the first year, you'll participate in real jobs during your internships for actual customers. You will be part of a small group of apprentice technicians, personally guided by instructors with years of experience. This way, we will introduce you to the many wonderful aspects of our fantastic profession right away!

This training program at Pon Power lasts three years.
The training at Pon Power starts every year in September. This is the moment you can join us.
However, we understand that this may not always be the most convenient time for everyone. Therefore, we also offer the option to start at a time that suits you better, in consultation.
1st Year
1 day at Da Vinci College in Dordrecht
4 days at the Pon Power Training Academy in Papendrecht
2nd Year
1 day at Da Vinci College in Dordrecht
4 days at the Pon Power Workshop practical internship in Papendrecht
3rd Year
1 day at Da Vinci College in Dordrecht 4 days in a practical internship with the Field Service, with your own service vehicle
To be admitted, you need a VMBO, MBO, or HAVO diploma.
The salary you earn is in accordance with the CAO Metalektro.
The training costs you nothing. It is fully paid for by us.
The theoretical part of the training is conducted at Da Vinci College in Dordrecht.
The practical days are held at Pon Power in Papendrecht.
If you successfully complete the training, you will receive a BBL diploma at level 3, level 4, or level 5.
If you have successfully completed your training, we will offer you a permanent position with various opportunities for further development.
